RailSafe is using a smarter way to approach railroad crossings.

RailSafe Alert is a developing railroad safety platform designed to improve driver awareness before vehicles reach railroad crossings. The system uses real-time location-based alerts to help drivers recognize nearby crossings earlier and respond with more awareness.

RailSafe is being built in two connected parts: a crossing alert layer that supports proximity-based crossing awareness, and a future train alert layer designed to support real-time detection of approaching trains. Together, these layers create an added safety tool that works alongside existing railroad infrastructure.

The mission is simple: improve awareness, reduce risk, and create stronger communication between railroad operations, municipalities, safety partners, and the public.
